Can I use rowid(or others method) for CONCURRENCY column? we has 1200 tables, so add a new column(VERSION_SEQ) into 1200 tables is bad ideal to do. Pls help! Tks/Ron Lee

Hi,

As far as I know, row concurrency is not guaranteed with row id column.

Do you mean ORA_ROWSCN pseudo column?

Do you have a column like modify_date on your tables? Or can you obtain a row version column by concatenating two or more columns. It doesn't have to be a number column. It may also be a varchar2 or date column.

If the above suggestions don't help, we can add a new concurrency method by checking each column value in the row (In the further releases).
