Hi Robert,

We are doing final quality control on our upcoming release 1.2. Therefore 1.2 is pretty much frozen at this point in terms of adding new functionality. New map features are among the candidate features to be included to the 1.3 release. The final list of features will be set after our 1.3 version meeting. I'll keep this thread updated.

Hi Yalim!
Thank you for your reply.
I am very glad that you see the need to implement and support MAPS.
Today many people are aware that the "information" - the data have one major attribute Geolocation - everything we see and do not see this attribute has a location in space.
As talking with friends and potential customers - everyone wants to see the information on the map.

PS

By the way, I want to congratulate you and your workgroup an excellent product which is Formspider. Personally, I am very interested Formspider
  - For 10 years I was a programmer, SQL * Forms start from ver.2.x to SQL * Forms ver. 6i, from 2001 until today, I had a break.
2 weeks ago I started thinking about going back to SQL * Forms technology, but I found you. And now I do not want SQL * Forms, because I see more potential in Formspider!

Regards,
Robert

Hi Robert,

Many thanks for your compliments. You made our day! :-).

We want Formspider to be the best framework for PL/SQL developers and that's what we are working on. I am very happy to see that you see the potential. Stay tuned, there are many great things to come.

By the way, are you on LinkedIn by any chance? We have a group there where we share the latest news and information about Formspider. Here is the link to the group if you want to join: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=3710847&trk=hb_side_g

Thanks again for the kind words. We'll be in touch.

Kind Regards, Yalim

Hi Yalim,
Thx for link.
I think that the additional function of working with the map should be available as soon as possible. Tomorrow I have a meeting with a friend and he wants to use the map in your application to the valuation of the property. Please raise the issue as soon as possible - now everyone wants to map(local government and more).
Only the forms, tables or charts are still a bit too low as the information is associated with location. I hope to quickly integrate MAP API (Google, OpenMapStreet or other 1) with Formspider new. version too. Regards, Robert.

Hi folks,

any updates in map updates?

We would be very happy if you could extend a functionality on maps. In our business, which is a road transport, maps are more important as anything else. We would like to move forward with some modules, but this restrictions are not helping us.

Please prioritize maps in next release.

Thanks, Tomas
