Hi Folks

I was able to get Tutorials 1 and 2 working, but Tutorial 3 is giving an issue where, when I double click on a grid row, the grid display is replaced with a blank panel. Obviously I must have done something wrong in terms of the application, but I have been through the instructions several times and cannot find the source of the issue.

Here are 5 links to screen shots showing the code for the application:

mainPanel searchPanel singleColourPanel singleColourDialog Action

The package code is:

CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY pk_cp_colour_codes IS

PROCEDURE dosearch IS

BEGIN

  api_datasource.setbindvar ('CP_COLOUR_CODES1.description',
  api_component.getvaluetx ('searchPanel.description'));
  api_datasource.executequery ('CP_COLOUR_CODES1');

END dosearch;

PROCEDURE showsinglecolourdialog IS
BEGIN
  api_dialog.setvisible('singleColourDialog', 'Y');
END showsinglecolourdialog;

END pk_cp_colour_codes;

If you need any more details, let me know.

Best regards

Billy

It appears now that I had not correctly saved all changes, even though I had clicked the Save All Changes button. When I clicked on each of the 4 tabs in turn, and on each clicked the Save button, all were saved correctly and the Tutorial 3 application then worked correctly.

Thus it would appear the Save All Changes button does not seem work as one would expect.

Hi Billy,

The Save All button has been working very reliably. This is actually the first time we are receiving an issue regarding this button. If you can easily replicate this issue, we'd be very interested in scheduling a remote session to see what the problem might be.

Kind Regards,
Yalim
