We have some PDF documents stored in the database as BLOB's, is there way in Formspider to show these PDF's in the browser?

Hi Simon,

There is nothing specific in Formspider to make this work. As AlfAbetas said, all you need to do is to call the correct URL which will download the correct PDF.

Hi,

Try download BLOB to application server, and show like html render object, o just open like new link.

thanks guys, have done as per suggestion.... unfortunately users are never happy, what they actually want is the PDF to go directly to the printer without displaying it. Our current Forms application does this via some funky client_host functionality and Adobe Reader.

My understanding is that without using some kinda activeX control there is no way to print direct to a printer from within a browser?
