We have a number of fields in a number of tables where the value can be either Y or NULL, don't ask me why its a legacy system and nobody can say why it wasn't Y or N or 1 or 0.

Anyhow, I don't appear to be able to set the unchecked value of the checkbox to NULL in FS, or am I missing something.

I know I can do something funky with our table API/trigger to translate from N to Null, but thought I would ask just in case.

Hi Simon,

Unfortunately it's not possible to set the unchecked value of the checkBox to NULL, you can only set the unchecked value to a not null string. As you mentioned, the only way to achieve this is to translate from N (or your custom not null value) to NULL.

Ibrahim
