Dear team support,

With a very good support from formspider team, I finally managed to developed small application using SRDEMO as the template. while preparing for migration, suddenly tomcat can not run. I reinstall tomcat from formspider installation (middle tier component). After re-installation, I try to import application, but does not work... the error message Cannot find Application "FormspiderIDE".

How should I fixed this problem?

I also having problem when trying to migrate to production. Because we do not have license in production server, I used the following procedure (copy paste from formspider Q&A):

declare v_oracleDirectory_tx varchar2(255) := 'EMS_SOURCE'; v_applicationName_tx varchar2(255) := 'EMS'; v_xmlFileName_tx varchar2(255) := 'EMS.XML'; v_cl clob;

v_file bfile; v_destoffset number:=1; v_srcoffset number:=1; v_warning number:=0; v_context number:=0;

v_objectRecord_tt bdf_etl.tt_importObjects;

begin

bdf_application_api.applicationdelete(in_application_oid=>bdf_application_qry.getid(v_applicationName_tx), in_cascade_yn=>'Y');

dbms_lob.createtemporary(v_cl,true); v_file := BFILENAME(v_oracleDirectory_tx, v_xmlFileName_tx);

dbms_lob.open(v_file, dbms_lob.lob_readonly);

dbms_lob.loadclobfromfile(v_cl, v_file, DBMS_LOB.LOBMAXSIZE , v_destoffset, v_srcoffset, nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8'), v_context, v_warning);

dbms_lob.close(v_file);

bdf_etl.load(in_bdf_xml=>xmltype(v_cl), in_importOption_cd =>'AsNewApplication', in_projectOption_cd=>bdf_constant_etl.etlcreateOrReplace, in_applicationOption_cd=>bdf_constant_etl.etlcreateOrReplace, in_importObjects_tt=>v_objectRecord_tt);

commit; end;

I got the following error message:

Error report - ORA-31011: XML parsing failed ORA-19213: error occurred in XML processing at lines 225 LPX-00225: end-element tag "DOMAINDTLDSP" does not match start-element tag "VALUE_TX" ORA-06512: at "SYS.XMLTYPE", line 272 ORA-06512: at line 28 31011. 00000 - "XML parsing failed" Cause: XML parser returned an error while trying to parse the document. Action: Check if the document to be parsed is valid.

What should I do?

Thank you for your kind support.

Regards, Suputra

Hi Suputra,

Happy to hear that the issue is resolved. Simply, run the license script I sent you in the schema you installed Formspider and you should be all set.

Kind Regards, Yalim
