Hi, I'm evaluating Formspider and I have tried to integrate Jasper Reports and when I come to the step to try the report in the browser with "localhost/formspider/jasperreportsservlet" I receive the expected message "Welcome.. Please select a report and press run." but when I try to select the report with "localhost/formspider/jasperreportsservlet/?rep_name=employeesOfDepartments&destination=display&dep_id=20" I receive the folowing error in the browser: "Error occured while displaying report java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied" If I run the report from Jasper Reports everithing is ok. I changed the password to be numeric only(to eliminate some issues regarding characters)but it is not working. I made the changes to the web.xml as stated in the tutorial and I know it is the right one because first I misspeled something and I received an error at Tomcat start. I use iReport 4.60 and ojdbc6. The dabase is Oracle 11g XE. Can someone help me please to solve this issue ? Thanks, Viki

Hi,

I was able to complete the tutorial only after I cleared the cache of the browser(Firefox). I don't know why I had to do this but now it works. Thanks, Viki

Hi Viki,

Happy to hear that the issue is resolved. I am not sure what the problem was either but I know that aggressive caching by browsers sometimes causes weird errors. If it happens again please let us know and we'll look into it.

Kind Regards,
Yalim
