As we know that auditing plays a vital role and it's under practice in every organization. In continum, if there is a database and OS auditing in place, then by using Formspider api's could we able to display audit xml files that resides on Linux host from the browser ?

Apologize for the delay in my reply.

XML file is not accessible through URL. I need to look for an alternative to make it work using Formspider.

Could you provide me a way, how i could do this using Formspider ? As you know, the quantiy of files is huge, if possible, could we try to display the files and make it interactie so as to choose which file contents to display ?

Awaiting for your reply...

Rgrds, Ata

There are a couple of ways to present the files on your servers.

  • If files are on the same host with the database, you can create Oracle Directories and manage your files in PL/SQL. Then present your files in a Formspider App.
  • If files are on the same host with the Formspider Middletier
  • You can create symbolic links in linux inside [tomcat]/webapps/[formspider]/ , then you can manage those links in a Formspider App.
  • A new servlet can be written to serve the files you want. Then this sevlet should be deployed to Formspider Middletier.
