Hi formspider team,

We wanted to customize the XML script generated by the getgridstate API by adding few more attributes like headerLabel, headerBackgroundColor etc. However, when we use the setgridstate to apply it, the attributes we added do not take effect.

In this context we request you to kindly help us to write our own getgridstate and setgridstate so that we have full control of what XML is generated and restored. A little code or idea will be of great help.

Regards,

George.

Hi George,

The current SetGridState API is designed for a limited number of grid attributes. To achieve your request, you can build your own custom XML and retrieve the necessary atributte values via Formspider getter APıs and then keep these values (as well as grid and grid column names for mapping) in XML format. To restore the grid state, you can parse this XML and apply the values via Formspider setter APIs.

Best regards,
Ibrahim
