How does the developer license (599$) work? I'd need to install formspider on the development database and production db of the customer. After reaching a deployment point in the developemnt I'd export it from test DB and reimport it under a test-app name into die production db. Final checks passed, I'd overwrite the prod app in the prod db with the new version. Further developing in test db and test app, rinse, repeat.

That way I'd need two formspider installs and two tomcat ports, right?

Or same port, but two formspide base names?

Comes along another customer, how do I develop and deploy for him?

I currently don't see were the development license resides? (DB?, tomcat?)

Hi Paul,

The license enables you to install the Formspider IDE to 5 different Formspider installations. So far this number has been more than enough for our customers.

You don't need to have the IDE installed to deploy your applications to a Formspider run-time. There are PL/SQL API's that you can use for this purpose.

Kind Regards,
Yalim
