Hello Team! Before 1.8 I could install 2 or more instances of FS into the same database (into different schemas). Now the FS Installer show a warning: "please do not install VC components to the same database more than once". Is there a limitation for a one instance of FS per database? Best regards, Andrew Pouckatch |
Hi Andrew, You can still install 2(or more) fs instances to one database. Just make sure that you uncheck version control option before you install the second one. Kind regards, |
Will these two FS instances share one version control module? And in future: will two different versions of FS (1.8 and 1.9) work correctly with common version control? Best regards, Andrew Pouckatch Hi Andrew , No they will not share the same version control. In one database only one FS installation will have version control. Having two version control systems in the same database can be quite confusing. (Two version control systems may attempt to manage the same DB objects) We don't intend to support this any time soon. Kind Regards, Yalim
