Is there a tool (yours or third party) that we can use to setup a complicate Form tableLayout instead of writing it from scratch? What i'm thinking is like a drag and drop tool that will automatically create the XML file that you need for the panel tablelayout. The task of setting up the layout is consuming most of time. instead the developer should concentrate on the business logic.

Best Regards, Chris

Hi Chris,

We are actively working on a drag and drop GUI Designer. I cannot commit on a release date but this is one of the features we are working on to make screen development faster.

Kind Regards,
Yalim

I agree with Chris that I also spend a lot of my time on the layout. Could we expect something this year or would it more likely be 2015?.

Hi Raymond, I don't want to commit to a date publicly but I can say this: We are about to release Formspider 1.8. After 1.8 is released our main focus will be on drag and drop GUI Designer. We've been working on it for a while.

Hi Yalim, Talking about drag and drop, could I add a feature request to be able to drag a file from desktop/filemanager to component to upload a file(s). That would really help with some document management in applications.

Duly noted. :-)
