Hello everybody,

I found this system message "Event data is invalid. Your last request is ignored."

I saw previous posts about it and you're fixing these issues as you encounter them.

The steps to reproduce this in the case I found are:

  1. Double click a tabbed panel.
  2. Trigger an action (e.g. clicking on a button which contains an action).

is there any workaround for this kind of errors?

Thankful in advance, Freddy

Hi Freddy,

I don't understand what you mean by double clicking a tabbed panel. There is no event regarding the double click of a tabbedPanel. I am not able to reproduce the error.

Kind Regards,

Hello Yalim,

An example for this error happens on the IDE as well.

  1. Click twice on the Preview tab (next to the Source tab in the IDE): The first click will display the preview panel, the second click will display an error message: "Current Tab has already been deleted or has not been assigned yet."
  2. After step 1, when you click the "Set" button next to the "Select view size" combobox a System Message will appear "Event data is invalid. Your last request is ignored."

This is how it can be reproduce in the Formspider IDE.

I hope this post is helpful to solve this error messages.

Hi Freddy,

I just checked. This bug is already fixed in our development environment. So it will be available in the next release. Thank you for your help.

Kind Regards,

Hi all,

In my application this error can easily be replicated - i only have to open a dialog and close it with the cross in the right uppper corner.

For now i have added a huge "close" button to the dialog and set parameter close to N so the cross does not appear anymore. But i guess it would make more sense if the cross could be used.
