Dear formspider team,

I do not understand the purpose of filter before display check box in LOV creation screen. Can you kindly explain?

Also I suggest you to add a optional functionality to LOV where it does not display the LOV if there is only one row to be displayed. In that case it should automatically assign the values of the row to the target components in the LOV without displaying the LOV.

Hi George,

When you set the LOV 'Filter before display' option to true, then when starting the LOV, the datasource will not be automatically queried. You will have to press the Search button on the LOV to query the values.

About your suggestion not showing the LOV when a single record is found, if you use an lovField component to enter the data, then when the value in the lovField matches exactly one value in the LOV, then the LOV is not shown.

Best regards,
Michiel A.
