Hello,

I have datasource "DS" = Select ID, NAME from something

I build grid <grid name="G_PRS" editable="Y" datasource="DS"> <column name="C_SELECT" width="10"> <checkbox checkedvalue="T" uncheckedvalue="N" enable="Y"> <events> <valuechanged action="CHECKBOX_EVENT"/> </events> </checkbox> </column>
<column headerlabel="NAME"> <textfield column="NAME" editable="N"/> </column> </grid> Checkbox is not database field. How i can get checkbox value on CHECKBOX_EVENT ?
One solution: I can make fake database field and this field set for checkbox . But maybe is another way ?

Thanks

Hi,

There is not another way, as you mentioned, the only way to accomplish this is to bind a datasource column to the checkbox and get its value through this datasource column. The easiest way to implement this is to create a view based on your database object and add a virtual column to be used for the checkBox. Then, in your datasource deftion, just uncheck the "Updetable" checkBox for this virtual column.
