Hey guys, I have a problem. I just updated my Formspider installation to 1.6.0 today (before, it was 1.5.0) and now I can't access the IDE anymore. I try to open http://127.0.0.1:8080/formspider/main.html?name=FormspiderIDE, but it just leads me to the "Error 500 page" which simply states "Internal Server Error". What can I do? I installed this update on the same way I did install the previous one. I can access the API doc and the tomcat roots http://127.0.0.1:8080/ or http://127.0.0.1:8080/formspider/ easily... |
Hi Marcel, Could you please download FS 1.6 and install only the middle tier? If you have any css fiels and icons etc... you may need to copy them over. But if the problem is with the tomcat, this is the easiest way to solve it. Kind regards, Yalim You mean selecting "Use existing tomcat installation"?

You can install a new tomcat too, if you don't mind. Try both.

I have the same problem, after my first download and installation of Form Spider and the accompanying Tomcat server. The Tomcat server seems to have installed just fine, and when I go to the Tomcat Web Application Manager (http://127.0.0.1/manager/html/list), then click on the Form Spider link, I get "Internal Server Error". For the /host-manager and /manager links I get "HTTP Status 404 - /host-manager/" and "The requested resource (/host-manager/) is not available." Somehow the Tomcat server did not set up correctly, or I missed a step. The root link (/), /docs and /examples links work just fine. What do I need to do now? Thanks. |
Looks like this thread is dead. If you are having the same problem, try: http://osqa.theformspider.com/questions/4960/19-internal-server-error-after-fresh-install Hi Lyspon, I apologize for the inconvenience the failed installation has caused. Where you able to resolve your issue eventually or do you still need help from us? KInd Regards,
