Hey guys, it's me again. In several cases I use Formspider's Domains feature to restrict the user's input possibilities. For example, I have a text field, where the user should enter a bar code. All the bar codes consist of only numbers, but the column itself is VARCHAR2(8) because the codes can have a leading 0 and I want this to be displayed (also "only use number/integer data types, when you want to calculate something xD").
Now in Formspider, I want that the user is capable of entering only numeric values. It would be awesome if there would be a choice between alphanumeric and numeric when I choose VARCHAR2 as the data type for a newly created domain. Maybe you could even add something to prevent the input of special characters.. I tried to use the NUMBER data type for my "bar code" domain to prevent the input of alphabetical characters, but then 01001868 is being transformed to 1001868...
I mean, it's no problem to check this in the backend with some (little) PL/SQL, but it would be pretty awesome, if Formspider would already take care of this job for me, in the first place..
