Hi folks,

as our application is getting a bigger, I would like to implement below "admin" features into it:

  1. Into a status bar, which we have always displayed in our application at a bottom section, I would like to show a NAME of an active formspider panel. So, the name of the latest active panel name (based on user click). Is there any function which would return it in a general way (so I can add the same command at the beginning of procedures before panel is activated) ? Or any smart idea how to implement it?

  2. Additionally to above, I would love to have a feature to display a LATEST QUERY TEXT which was run - for grids, and trees only. This might be displayed by some key shortcut like "ALT+Q" in active grid. Any idea how to get this info about latest query?

Please advice.

Kind regards, Tomas

Hi Tomas,

  1. There is no easy way to do this for now. You may add FocusGain event to your all components and use API_APPPLICATION.getFocusedComponent to get current active component and write it to status bar. But giving this event to all component may effect the performance of the application.

  2. There is no way to implement this at the moment.
