Hi,

Can you recommend/suggest any hosting providers that offer 10gXE or 11gXE with Tomcat that are suitable for hosting Formsoider applications at a reasonable price?

When I say "suitable", I mean with minimal effort in terms of setup/config.

Thanks,

Craig.

Hi Craig,

We host our servers on Amazon. We are very happy with it. Amazon's machines are virtual, so you can expand and improve them when needed. If you pay in advance for a year, you also get a very good deal.

Previously, we hosted it on GoDaddy. You rent an actual server so there is less flexibility but the process is more straightforward in terms of setting up. We were happy with GoDaddy too.

We switched to Amazon because we wanted the flexibility. Amazon is also more cost effective if you pay in advance.

I guess ease of use depends on which OS you are familiar with. If you are familiar with Windows, you'd pay a little more but you'd have a GUI.

Hope this helps, Yalim

Hi Yalim,

Thanks for the info and email earlier; yesterday I did actually start researching Amazon.

Thanks,

Craig
