Hi Formspider team,

I'm having troubles with setting a tooltip column with the api:

api_datasource.setcolumnvalue( in_datasourcedotcolumn_tx => ... , in_row_id => ... , in_value_tx => ... );

I use the datasource column as a tooltip and I want to add html breaks < br > (using spaces now because otherwise I think it doesn't show correctly on the forum) in the in_value_tx. Previously the breaks where interpreted correctly but now the tooltip shows the < br > as text. We are using version 1.3. I'm also having this problem when I want to set a column header with breaks with the procedure:

api_component.setgridheaderlabel( in_paneldotcomponentname_tx => ... , in_columnname_tx => ... , in_label_tx => ... );

Any idea what is causing this or suggestions how to do this?

Thanks, Daniel S.

Hi Daniel,

Since version 1.2, as a part of the security improvement, the use of HTML tags are not functional in tooltips and grid header labels, it's only functional in textLabel component.

We are aware of the need for this functionally. We will work on possible solutions/work-arounds and implement it in future releases.

Best Regards,
Ibrahim
